After establishing a partnership and cooperation with the representatives of the local authorities in Ruma, Pancevo, Stara Pazova, Belgrade (Ovca settlement), Sremska Mitrovica and Kula, the CARE project team conducted in-depth interviews with RHP users who in a 2018 survey expressed willingness to improve their economic position and self-sustainability through re-training and starting their own business.
The activity is carried out through close cooperation with the local self-government, Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia, and with the support of the Fund for Providing Assistance to Refugees, Expelled and Displaced Persons of the Provincial Government of Vojvodina. In the second round of talks, the beneficiaries more closely defined the ideas they stated in the previous surveys and answered the questions about the amount of funds they needed to start their own business, the time of realization, the purpose and intentions of spending the requested funds, and the manner of registration.
