BETTER SOCIOECONOMIC INTEGRATION OF RHP RETURNEES TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES OF BIH

The project is implemented in Serbia (Belgrade and Novi Sad) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Municipalities: Bosansko Grahovo, Glamoc, Sanski Most, Bihac, Drvar, Livno , Mostar, Bosanski Petrovac)

Project purpose: Contributing to long-term and sustainable residential solutions for returnees in order to achieve their socioeconomic integration in local communities of BiH. Creating cooperation mechanisms between CSOs, government institutions and domestic population of municipalities chosen by returnees.

Planned project activities are:

Activity 1 – Intro meetings with relevant stakeholders in BiH and Serbia;

Activity 2 – Creating a team of interviewers;

Activity 3 – Educating interviewers and accreditation;        

Activity 4 – Conducting surveys for 79 households in Serbia (Belgrade and Novi Sad);

Activity 5 – Creating a database and entering information;

Acitivity 6 – Preparing research reports, recommendations and examples of good practices;

Activity 7 – Informing end-users about the program

Activity 8 – Enabling CSOs in gathering the returnee community to define their basic needs;

Activity 9 – Communicating with the public and media;                                            

Activity 10 – Organizing the ending event, presenting project results and examples of good practice
